Super quick DIY tip of the day. If you have issues with your bathroom smelling as lovely as you imagine it should, or have at least one boy in the house- then this is a great tip for you!
Just take your TP, and your favorite essential oil (I like geranium or lavender for the bathroom- but any will do). Put two drops of your essential oil inside the cardboard roll of your TP, and voila- instant air freshener every time someone uses the roll!
Takes about 10 seconds, and smells of pure loveliness with no harsh chemicals are involved. Now all you need to do to enjoy your time in the “ladies room” is to lock the door, and pretend you don’t hear your children banging on the door and screaming to be let in.

We had this problem too. We imposed a $1 fine everytime the toilet wasn’t flushed and so then our 8 year old became the toilet flush cop of the house…she had to pay a $1 fine once and so did her Dad…we put the $1 bills on the fridge as a visual reminder and those were the only fines ever paid….she still talks about that fine

We were having that trouble with my almost 13 year old grandson…made him do the poop patrol in the yard…if someone else has to look at his then he can look at the dog’s! It worked so far!

What a great idea. I’ve just redsicovered my essential oils. Have had them on a shelf for about 15 years. Always have known they were there. Just kind of getting into it again. Can’t wait to try this little trick as I have 4 sons and a husband!!
